Professor Dr. Sanjay Kumar Receives Prestigious Best Teacher Award 2025

Recognition for Excellence in Education

Gurugram — Esteemed educator Professor Dr. Sanjay Kumar has been awarded the Best Teacher Award 2025 by the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) during the ISTE Faculty Convention and Education Industry Leaders Summit, which took place at the Swami Vivekanand Institute of Engineering and Technology in Banur.

Hailing from Dhalyara village in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, Dr. Sanjay is currently a faculty member in the Department of Physics at Gurugram University. He has authored 30 research papers recognized both nationally and internationally and has supervised two PhD candidates along with one M.Phil student.

Dr. Sanjay credits his success to the blessings of Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, the spiritual leader of Dera Sacha Sauda, an organization he has been part of since his youth. He expressed heartfelt appreciation, stating, “This recognition is solely due to the grace of my esteemed Guruji.”

He highlighted that the teachings of Saint Dr. Ram Rahim Singh Ji, particularly the principles of dedication, integrity, and spiritual discipline, have been pivotal in his academic career. “Every endeavor I embarked upon flourished with Guruji’s blessings,” he remarked.

Dr. Sanjay's parents, Mrs. Nirmala Devi and Master Rikhy Ram, were also dedicated followers of Dera Sacha Sauda, and he continues to follow the path they illuminated for him. He received spiritual initiation (Naam Daan) from the revered Guru and incorporates these values into his educational practices.

A passionate advocate for nanotechnology, Dr. Sanjay elaborated on how numerous scientific advancements rely on the characteristics of materials at the nanoscale. He pointed out that nano-based innovations are compact, lightweight, and economically viable, particularly within the Indian context.

The ISTE is committed to enhancing technical education in India by equipping educators, fostering student growth, and preparing skilled professionals for the workforce. It frequently organizes workshops and training sessions to refresh the knowledge and skills of teachers and administrators.
